A group of 38 enthusiastic Students of Deep Public School recently embarked on a captivating journey to the National Science Centre in New Delhi on the occasion of National Science Day which is celebrated on 28 February every year. They got an opportunity to attend a acquiring lecture on Material Science delivered by a distinguished professor from IIT Delhi.

Eager to celebrate the spirit of science and innovation, the students listened intently as the professor explained the mysteries of materials and their diverse applications. His lecture started with the small introduction of C.V. Raman. He then discussed his work based on sodium ion batteries. From nanotechnology to biomaterials, the lecture also provided a glimpse into the cutting-edge research shaping our world. At the end he discussed about superconductivity which helps us to reduce energy loss during power transmission.

Following the enlightening session, the students eagerly explored the exhibition at the Science Centre. The visit left the students inspired and motivated, with a newfound appreciation for the transformative power of science and the endless possibilities it holds. It was a day filled with learning, exploration, and excitement, marking a memorable celebration of National Science Day.

On 21st Feb 2024 a workshop was organised for class IX students to  spread awareness about all kinds of Cyber crime happening arroud us and how we can protect ourself from these crimes. Ten students from the school were selected as Cyber Worriers and awarded by honorable  sir Mr. H.S Randhawa(ACP Delhi Police Cyber Cell).

On 19/2/24, a workshop on Yamuna cleaning project action plan -3 , was organised in the school. Students of class 7th were apprised on the ways to keep their surroundings and water resources clean.A short quiz was also organised and the winners were awarded merit certificates . Students participated in the quiz with a lot of zeal and excitement.

Students of VII and VIII from Deep Public School, Vasant Kunj, visited Vasant Kunj Police Station on February 16, 2024, for a workshop. They learned the rules and regulations of life through real-life examples and were thankful to the management for organizing this workshop.They also learned about road safety rules and regulations.

Dedicated to Saraswati, the goddess of wisdom and knowledge, the festival of Saraswati Puja ,also known as Basant Panchami holds special significance for students and educational institutions. The students of our school also celebrated the occasion in the school with a lot of enthusiasm,seeking blessings for enlightenment and learning. A special Saraswati Puja was performed on this day . This festival also marks the onset of spring.

Farewell day celebration for class 12th

Today, Deep Public School organized a workshop on basic mental health for classes VI and VII. Ms. Kaushal Pawar conducted the session, and she is a renowned state psychologist. She is a graduate and postgraduate in philosophy and psychology from Delhi University. It was a very fruitful session for the students, and they were very thankful to the management for organizing such an excellent session.
