A group of 38 enthusiastic Students of Deep Public School recently embarked on a captivating journey to the National Science Centre in New Delhi on the occasion of National Science Day which is celebrated on 28 February every year. They got an opportunity to attend a acquiring lecture on Material Science delivered by a distinguished professor from IIT Delhi.
Eager to celebrate the spirit of science and innovation, the students listened intently as the professor explained the mysteries of materials and their diverse applications. His lecture started with the small introduction of C.V. Raman. He then discussed his work based on sodium ion batteries. From nanotechnology to biomaterials, the lecture also provided a glimpse into the cutting-edge research shaping our world. At the end he discussed about superconductivity which helps us to reduce energy loss during power transmission.
Following the enlightening session, the students eagerly explored the exhibition at the Science Centre. The visit left the students inspired and motivated, with a newfound appreciation for the transformative power of science and the endless possibilities it holds. It was a day filled with learning, exploration, and excitement, marking a memorable celebration of National Science Day.
