On 31 October 2023, the school celebrated National Unity Day on the occasion of the 148th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. Patel played a key role in the political integration of India, hence, this day is celebrated to remember the sacrifices made by our freedom fighters and reinforce our devotion to the unity and integrity of our nation. On this occasion, we foster our commitment to strengthen the unity and security of the country. 
In light of this, Deep Public School organized a special assembly where all the students pledged to uphold national unity and integrity. The students also emphasised on the importance of the day through special talks on the topic. The principal enlightened the students by speaking about the role of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel in national integration. 
To strengthen these emotions and motivate the students to keep up the spirit of unity, the school organized a short run. Holding posters and banners to create awareness, students participated in the 'Run for Unity' held in the school's neighbouring locality.

On 31^st October Deep Public School organised a movie picnic for primary  classes.

Movie Name: PAW Patrol

The Mighty Movie is a 2023 Canadian animated superhero comedy film based on the television series PAW Patrol created by Keith Chapman and the sequel to  PAW Patrol. PAW Patrol is a fun way to learn bravery and heroism, with exciting stories that never get too scary. The children were super excited and enjoyed the movie a lot.

Halloween Night is celebrated on 31 October every year. Students presented a special assembly by wearing masks. Students spoke about the importance of the day in the form of talk & poem .

On 26th october 2023, the school witnessed a proud moment as Nishika, a student of class XIth in Deep Public School, participated in a state level Karate competition held as part of Delhi State School Games organised by the Directorate of Education, Govt. of NCT of Delhi. The competition was held at Sarvodaya Vidyalaya, Rohini West. 

The fresh air does wonders for your child’s mental health. Spending time outdoors is shown to reduce levels of anxiety and lower levels of activity in the parts of our brains related to mental illness. Spending time in the sunshine is also related to improved mood and reduced stress levels for the kids as well as adults. Excursions and trips are the best ways to bond with each other and enjoy. The students of classes III to VI went to  'Rangmanch farms' on 25th October to enjoy the day away from their daily routine. The children thoroughly enjoyed the day in the company of their friends and teachers.

Deep Public School recently organised a Fun Filled Trip to VishalGarh Farms for the students of classes VII to XII on 20th October ,2023 . 
During the trip , students thoroughly enjoyed the live music and experienced various thrilling activities such as zip-line , rope climbing etc Students and teachers had great fun , adventure and relaxation . It was a joyful and a memorable day for the students.

In life's vibrant tapestry, weaving connections opens doors to fresh horizons, and sprinkles joy into everyday moments.there are times in life when it can be fun to introduce some new things in life – and one of those things might be a new friend.

National New Friends Day is here to show appreciation for and celebrate the beauty that comes from new friendship! A special assembly was conducted on 19.10.23 to spread awareness about this special day .

It was a special and proud moment for the school when the senior students won the first position in the inter school volleyball tournament organised by Guru Harkishan Public school .

The International Day for the Eradication of Poverty is observed on 17 October every year and aims to promote understanding between the society and the victims of poverty. According to the UN, this year's theme, 'Decent Work and Social Protection: Putting Dignity in Practice for All", calls for universal access to decent work and social protection endorse dignity, work, and fair wages for all. The students prepared an informative assembly to help students understand the concept of poverty.

Global Handwashing Day, celebrated on the 15th of October, is a day when the world unites in the simple yet powerful act of handwashing. It's a day that transcends borders and languages, reminding us of the universal importance of clean hands in safeguarding our health.
Hands are the bridge between us and the world, and on Global Handwashing Day, they become the bridge to better health. So let's celebrate this day with suds, smiles, and a shared commitment to a healthier, happier world, one handwash at a time.

Pass the Ball Activity by small kids.

Flowers have long been a source of inspiration in art and culture. Swiss floral artist Philipp Von Arx, who will create a flower installation at the Swiss Embassy's residence Garden and Atrium on October 13 as part of the 'Swiss Art Night - Switzerland India in Bloom' event, possesses unparalleled expertise in the realm of flower artistry. Thirteen students from Deep Public School got the opportunity to attend this art night. They were thrilled to meet the Ambassador of Switzerland and asked different questions during the Q&A session. At the end, they expressed their gratitude and thanks to the Chairman and management for organizing such a wonderful event.

Festivals are larger than life celebrations of various things. Festivals are the carriers of peace and joy in the communities. Furthermore, they give us the chance to celebrate the little and big things in life. They occur at regular intervals and help in breaking the monotony of life. All nations of the world have certain religious and cultural festivals. However, India is one of the largest countries to celebrate numerous festivals. Students of class-1 had 'Show and Tell' activity 'My Favourite Festival' on 14.10.2023.

In anticipation of the crowd favourite India-Pakistan match, Mr. Mrigank Parashar from Sahara News visited the students of Deep Public School to get a glimpse at the emotions and the energy running through the youth. 
Needles to say, all the bets were placed in favour of the victory of our charismatic team team India. Some accurate predictions were made as India went on to win the toss and chose to field first.

On 14 October 2023, we at Deep Public School organised an informative interaction session with the little bundles of joy of classes Nursery ang KG, their parents and the teachers.
It was a fun and enlightening session where we effectively discussed the roll parents in building the lives of their children. Parents learnt more about the importance of spending time with their children to inculcate values like discipline, honesty, sincerity etc. We were delighted to hear the positive response and feedback from the parents.

The International Day for Disaster Risk Deduction offers an opportunity to to spread awareness about the progress being made towards increasing safety and reducing the risk against deaths, livelihood, health etc. in times of disasters.
The students of Deep Public School organised an informative assessmbly on 13 October 2023 to advise everyone about the ways to reduce risk during calamities. Several children participated and went up to the mic to share their knowledge about the same.

The students of Deep Public School participated with great zeal and enthusiasm on the occasion of Tree Plantation Drive on 13 October,23 . Students planted 20 saplings to raise awareness about the environment. Planting of trees is important to protect our environment against air pollution and global warming. The drive was a success, empowering the students with the knowledge to save the environment.

On 12th October 2023, Hurdle Race Activity was conducted for the students of class 1. These races help develop the child's ability to focus on coordination, balance, and postural control, which greatly contributes to improved cognitive functions. Students enthusiastically participated in the event and showed a lot of interest.

One simple security breach can lead to major threats to personal information of people. Cyber crime is an increasingly serious problem. As we become more and more dependent on technology, we risk being vulnerable to such attacks. To spread awareness about cyber crime and the importance of protecting yourself against it, the Cyber Crime Warriors of Deep Public School organised an informative workshop for their juniors in the school on 11th October 2023.

Adolescent girls have the right to a safe, educated, and healthy life during their critical formative years and as they mature into women. Because if supported, they have the potential to become the empowered girls of today's and tomorrow's workers, mothers, entrepreneurs, mentors, household heads, and political leaders. To mark this occasion, 11th 0ctober 2023 was celebrated as International girl child day in the school.

On 11th 0ctober 2023, a career counseling session was conducted for the students of classes 9 to 12. Mr Ravi Kumar,B.Tech,IIT guided the students in making right career choices. The session helped the students in gaining clarity on career goals and exploring different career paths.

10th of October is observed as Mental Health Day around the world. This year's theme, 'Our Minds, Our Rights', revolves around the concept of mental health as a basic human right.

The students of Deep Public School organised a special assembly on the occasion of World Mental Health Day to raise awareness on mental health concerns, reduce stigma, and promote opening up about mental health.

The Badminton Inter-House Competition was held on 7^th Oct, 2023 at Deep Public School, Vasant Kunj. The event was a great success as each participant played with great enthusiasm. It was a wonderful display of talent.

As a part of National Cyber Security month October 23, a Cyber Awareness session has been conducted on 6th October by Cyber Crime Unit IFSO, Special cell , Delhi Police at Deep Public School,Vasant Kunj,  in which 240 students participated .

Sh. S H Randhawa,ACP/IFSO , Cyber Crime Unit conducted the session. After having MCQ Test 10 students from classes IX and XI have been selected as Cyber Warriers.

It was really a fruitfull session for the students.

Learning about clothing can benefit kids by fostering personal independence, teaching them to dress appropriately for different weather conditions, and promoting cultural awareness. Engaging in clothing-related activities also enhances fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.Keeping in view the above, the students of class 1st had paper folding (origami) activity in the Class on 3rd October 2023, in which they learnt how to make different paper dresses for different weather.

To motivate the students academically, Deep Public School,Vasant Kunj, honoured the rank holders of the Mid Term Examinations for all classes during the morning assembly on 3rd October 2023.
