Deep Public School organized a morning assembly to commemorate Veer Bal Diwas on December 26, 2023. Students from grades VI to IX actively participated in the program in front of the entire school. They spoke about the significance of Bal Diwas and recited poems with props.

The Hindi teacher also spoke about Sahibzada Zorawar Singh and Sahibzada Fateh Singh, paying homage to their bravery and sacrifice. Emphasizing the importance of learning from their lives, the teacher shared insights into their courage.

Additionally, students from class VII took the initiative to create a display board as a tribute to the noble souls, highlighting their virtues and contributions.

On the occasion of International Geeta Mahotsav the students of our school from classes 6 to 8  participated in the shloka chanting competition taking our cultural heritage forward. They  recited the shlokas alongwith their meaning. The winners were awarded certificates of merit.

Aryan Jetly class 11 C is a national 10 M pistol shooter and has participated in many competitions. He got qualified in all levels for nationals which were held in Dr. Karni Singh shooting range , Tughlakabad and also got an opportunity to play and represent himself in national level last year.

On Saturday, 23.12.23 the students of all the four houses from classes 6 to 8 participated in a cricket match competition. The final match was between the blue and red house in which blue house won the first poition. Students showcased their talent and fitness and enjoyed the healthy competition.

Christmas is an annual festival commemorating the birth of Jesus Christ, observed primarily on December 25 as a religious and cultural festival around the world.It is a time to gather with loved ones and friends, exchange gifts, enjoy wonderful food, and spend quality time together. The students of our school also enjoyed the day with fun activities like Carol singing and Christmas party where they exchanged their gifts with their friends and enjoyed the food. Students dressed up as Santa Claus and distributed sweets among kids. The students had fun and were full of excitement!

Mr. Manoj Raj from Waste Management, Hyderabad, conducted a demonstration on how to use waste materials for decoration on December 15, 2023, in our school. Students have learned the skills of using waste material efficiently.

DEEP PUBLIC SCHOOL conducted the Commerce Olympiad for students of Class XI and XII on 14th December 2023 organised by ICSI. The Olympiad aims to ensure a better learning outcome for students while keeping a focus on core topics like Accountancy, Economics and Business Studies along with new age topics like Taxation Business Administration, Banking, Insurance and Financial Management which helps students in getting a holistic review on their learnings. This examination is also meant to provide students practice to crack competency based questions and to train them for the CUET exam It is an MCQ based examination divided into two levels. Level 1 results will be declared in January and qualified students will appear for Level 2.

In the month of December,2023, students from Deep Public School actively engaged in activities centered around raising awareness about phasing out single-use plastic. This initiative, started by SKV Rajkori School, began with a collective pledge in the assembly. All students and staff committed to taking individual and community-level actions to reduce plastic usage, fostering a united effort to create a greener and healthier planet. Various activities, including speeches, essay writing, quiz competitions, and slogan creation, were conducted as part of the program. The students participated with immense enthusiasm, deepening their understanding of plastic pollution and recognizing the urgency to address this issue promptly. Throughout these activities, students generated numerous ideas that can be easily implemented to reduce single-use plastic. This initiative is significant, considering that students represent the younger generation of our country, and it is essential for them to comprehend their responsibilities toward the environment.

Poster making Activity on Farm Animals was conducted on 13.12.2023 in Nursery class in which students spoke about the importance of farm animals and also mentioned about use of every farm animal in our lives. Students enjoyed this activity and they actively participated in the class.

Students who participated in the science exhibition and those who secured positions received certificates in today's assembly.

The star performers of Nursery and KG received star badges in today's assembly, but everyone is a star performer in the end.

Academics play a very important role in the holistic development of a child. To motivate and encourage the students, golden and silver batches were awarded to students of classes Nursery to IX and XI scoring above 90 percent in the 2nd Periodic Assessment..

Yoga promotes physical strength and motor coordination, and it also teaches kids to use their muscles in different ways. The students of class 1 practiced yoga to maintain mental clarity , increase concentration and calmness .

While an ancient practice, Karate has many relevant health benefits even in the 21st century. Karate can improve your overall health and increase strength, coordination, agility, balance, and endurance. To show their skill , the students of our school participated in the 3rd Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri memorial karate tournament and brought laurels to the school. They were rewarded with certificates and trophies.

Students of Deep Public School organized a science exhibition in the school ground on December 9th. The primary goal was to unveil the hidden talents of the students and foster awareness of science, technology, and engineering. The exhibition featured numerous operational and non-operational models, such as rainwater harvesting, wireless power transfer, robotic cars, hydraulic cranes, crank generators, terrace farming, buzz wire alarms, Chandrayaan-3, lava lamps, and more. Students effectively presented and explained these models using working prototypes and charts, showcasing their commendable efforts akin to young scientists .The exhibition garnered significant success, with a large turnout of parents and students who provided positive feedback. Simultaneously, the school organized a book fair on the same day, showcasing a diverse range of books across various categories to inspire readers. Categories like self-help books and fictional stories attracted considerable attention. The book fair enjoyed active participation from students, parents, and teachers, making it a remarkable day that provided students with opportunities to cultivate scientific temper and enhance their reading and comprehension skills.

The CBSE offers skill education courses in curriculum to enhance the employability and
entrepreneurship skills of students in various domains.
Exhibition on "Mask Making activity" held in Deep Public School on 9th December 2023 by
Class VII B Students under skill education.
Students displayed different types of masks made by them showing culture, tradition, and
festivals of different states of India
This fun filled activity of making and decorating the mask offers them a platform to show their
skill with amazing ideas witnessed an enthusiastic participation of all the students. It also
inspired them to think and work creatively.

Winter is a season that brings out the best in us. With warm and cozy clothes, hot and refreshing drinks, fun indoor activities , winter holidays, and snowy adventures to be had, there are plenty of reasons why winter is the best season! The tiny tots of KG class enjoyed the onset of winter with a fun and creative activity of cutting and pasting of pullover . They thoroughly enjoyed the activity.

Pollution is very harmful for our physical as well as mental health.
To raise awareness regarding the same ,Students of classes 1 to 5 did a poster making activity on 'Say no to pollution'
on 2/12/23 on National pollution control day.
