A special morning assembly was conducted in Deep Public School on the theme Save Animals. The aim of the programme was to create awareness among students about the importance of protecting animal life and preserving the balance of nature. The assembly began with the morning prayer, followed by a short introduction highlighting the increasing threats faced by animals due to habitat loss, pollution, illegal hunting, and climate change.
Thought-provoking speech was delivered by students, emphasizing that animals play a vital role in maintaining ecological balance.Speakers explained how many species are disappearing at an alarming rate and stressed that protecting animals is not only a moral responsibility but also essential for the health of the planet. The speech encouraged students to take simple steps such as reducing plastic use, protecting green spaces, avoiding cruelty to animals, and supporting conservation efforts.
Wildlife is a precious gift from God for this planet. The term "fauna" is not only for wild animals but also for all non-domesticated life forms including birds, insects, plants, fungi and even microscopic organisms. To maintain a healthy ecological balance on this land, animals, plants and marine species are as important as humans. Every organism on this earth has a unique place in the food chain that contributes to the ecosystem in its own way. But, unfortunately today, many animals and birds are endangered.
