"Healthy food is the foundation of a healthy life." The food we eat plays a big role in how we feel, grow, and function every day. When we choose healthy foods, we give our bodies the fuel they need to stay strong, energetic, and active.
Healthy food includes fresh fruits, vegetables, whole grains, milk, pulses, and nuts. These are rich in essential nutrients like vitamins, minerals, fiber, and protein. Eating balanced meals helps improve our immunity, keeps our mind sharp, and protects us from diseases like obesity, diabetes, and heart problems.
On the other hand, eating too much junk food — like chips, soft drinks, and sweets — may taste good, but it can harm our body in the long run.
The saying "You are what you eat" is very true. So, if we eat healthy, we stay healthy. For this purpose, we are initiating Healthy Fruit Week ( Primary Sections) 21st to 25th July
