GANESH CHATURTHI IN ECO FRIENDLY WAY
The festival of Ganesh Chaturthi was celebrated with great devotion, joy, and cultural spirit in
our school campus. The entire premises wore a festive look with beautiful decorations of
flowers, rangoli designs, colourful banners, and eco-friendly themes prepared by students. The
celebration brought together students, teachers, and staff, creating an atmosphere filled with
positivity and devotion.
The program began with the traditional aarti and prayers, seeking Lord Ganesha’s blessings for
knowledge and prosperity.
The rhythmic beats of dhol and claps of students filled the campus with festive energy.
To highlight the cultural and educational importance of the festival, students delivered speeches
on the significance of Ganesh Chaturthi, explaining how it is celebrated across India and the
values it teaches—faith, humility, unity, and wisdom. A short skit depicting popular stories of
Lord Ganesha’s birth and his intelligence entertained the audience while also teaching valuable
lessons.
The cultural programme included devotional songs, group dances, and bhajans, which created
a devotional and joyful atmosphere. Younger students took part in drawing, colouring, and
rangoli competitions, while middle and senior students enthusiastically participated in clay idol-
making, spreading awareness about eco-friendly celebrations.
Teachers also addressed the gathering, guiding students on the importance of eco-friendly
Ganesh Chaturthi, encouraging the use of natural clay idols, organic colours, and symbolic
visarjan methods to protect the environment. The event was not only a religious celebration but
also a lesson in environmental responsibility.
The celebration concluded with the entire school chanting “Ganpati Bappa Morya” in unison.
The energy, devotion, and joy of the moment filled every heart, leaving behind a message of
faith, togetherness, and responsibility towards nature.
The Ganesh Chaturthi celebration on the school campus was truly a blend of tradition, learning,
culture, and awareness, making it a memorable and meaningful occasion for all.
