Lord Ganesha Emarsion in Eco-friendly Way
Our school bid farewell to Lord Ganesha with devotion and a strong message of environmental care. After the grand celebration of Ganesh Chaturthi, the emarsion ceremony was conducted in an eco- friendly way within the school campus. “ॐ यान्तु देवगणा: सर्वे पूजामादाय मामकीम्। इष्टकामसमृद्धयर्थं पुनर्अपि पुनरागमनाय च॥“ Students and teachers gathered for a special prayer and aarti, chanting “Ganpati Bappa Morya” with great enthusiasm. Instead of immersing the idol in natural water bodies, the school arranged special water tanks for the ritual immersion. The idol, made of natural clay and organic colours, dissolved easily in water without causing pollution. Later, the water was used to water plants in the school garden, symbolizing life and renewal.
Through this practice, students learned the importance of combining faith with responsibility towards nature. Teachers highlighted how eco-friendly celebrations protect rivers, lakes, and aquatic life, while still keeping the spirit of the festival alive. The event concluded with the message that true devotion to Lord Ganesha is not only through rituals but also through conscious actions that safeguard the environment. The eco-friendly emarsion of Lord Ganesha reminding everyone that true devotion lies in love for God as well as care for Mother Earth.
